I have been restoring antiques and all other types of furniture all my working life - since 1982 - and have never done anything else.
My first job was with A. Essex & Co. in Edinburgh, where I worked for 18 years.
After meeting William Trist I worked with him for 5 years until he retired, sadly through illness, which prompted me to set up my own business in 2004.
I am happy to have worked with many private clients as well as The National Galleries of Scotland, The Royal Society of Edinburgh, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and many of Scotland's finest houses and hotels.
